I loved this so much. Didn’t want it to end and hope you do it again!! You’re the most relatable person ever (you know how to put into words the way we all are feeling).
Adored this post! I love seeing the slow, steady life you're building and I will just say, I always get excited to see your instagram stories of your pup, floral chaise, and book. It's a life I am trying to achieve for myself and I find yours so inspiring and a good reminder to find joy in the everyday. Hope we get to see more weeks in the life in the future. Thank you for sharing!
I loved this post, Olivia. I really appreciate your vulnerability in your writing, particularly as it pertains to body/self-image, slow living, and seeking joy in what may seem like the smallest of things. I’m 37 this year and it is a daily occurrence now that I am caught off guard by the person that I see in the mirror. I’m not sure if I will ever “accept myself,” but your rich writing reminds me that I am not alone and that far greater joy will be found by appreciating where my feet are planted now and observing nature, finding gratitude, and loving those closest to me. I hope that you will write that book. Your voice matters.
You’re extremely relatable and I love your writing style. Every essay feels like I’m just listening to you (yes, even the ones I have to read!)
I also used to bite my nails/cuticles and I very much remember my mom warning me about not being able to have photos of my hands at my wedding because they’d be scarred (which is terrible- my mom has no memory of this but I bring it up anytime she admires my natural nails and ring) 😂
I love love this. The best creators are the ones you stick with no matter their phase in life because, while you love their content, you really enjoy the person. I will enjoy any phase you give us!!
I absolutely LOVED this post and have been thinking about it all day after reading this morning. As a fellow someone who feels as if my life has shifted away from being less online/not posting as much of my day to day because it just feels too normal, I really appreciate your perspective and willingness to share your life, because even if it feels normal to you, it was exciting and different to me!!
I really loved this format! As someone that picked up your book at the library when it came out and now follows you on both instagram and substack, this was a fun newsletter!
On a side note: Try bringing your morning coffee, book and Winnie into the guest bedroom in the mornings for 30 minutes. When my dog was a puppy and fully house trained she started pooping in the weight room off my bedroom...a place she (and I) never went into. Dogs don't mark in places they have to spend a lot of time, so I would assume that's the reason she's started to use it as an easy place to relieve herself! If you make her spend time there for a little while the problem will most likely stop...(I sat in the weight room with Kona everyday for two weeks for 30 minutes and it stopped happening after only a few days). I hope this helps and good luck!!
Thank you so much for the tip!! I am going to try that. Interestingly, when I was working in there (and she was in there more, too), she never did this... so this is good to know.
Also, LOVED hearing about how you found me!! That makes me so happy. Thanks for checking out SABI :)
This was such a delight, Olivia! I loved getting a peek into your week and the 'boring' life you talk about resonates! I don't think it's boring at all, it's lovely and content and yours.
Hi Olivia. I loved this post so much! Honestly would be happy to see a recap like this quite often. I think it’s not the outfit posts and the links we miss—your life is DREAMY to us and we just like to hear from you and see what you’re up to. Thanks for this, it was truly fun.
I loved this! You are still so relatable, no matter what you tell yourself. We are all the worst critics of ourselves and you being honest about that is the absolutely best!!

Thank you so much, Gina! I really enjoyed writing it and I'm glad you did too. Thanks for the major compliment! I try <3

Thank you so much, Rebecca! It's a good life indeed. I'm very lucky. Thanks for being here!!
This is the kind of post I really love. Brings me back to the classic blogging days of yore.
And for the record, the content you post these days is great. I love seeing your house, your town, your books, etc. You do you!
Thank you so much. It reminded me of the OG blogging days, too. I really loved it. Thanks for following along. <3

Hahaha. I can remember someone saying something similar to me, actually (I am also a reformed cuticle picker).
Ty for the kind words!
The joy of watching your plant grow changing to the silly realization it was a weed is a metaphor for so much! Loved this recap.
It's true! We had a very good laugh there.

Right back at you, Jordan!!! <3

Thanks for reading, Emma. This is so nice. And a good reminder!
Loved loved this so much! So relatable. My dog and my books and my garden are 3 of my fave things in life and love seeing this side of anyones life.

This was wonderful. Please do it again this week!
Would love to!! So glad you enjoyed.
Finding journal entries from my tween years is shocking each time. I loved this!!!
Yes!!! Every time I am floored, even if I remember some of the entries.
Thanks for reading!
