Ridiculously relatable. Somewhere between Panic and Rage is also usually when I’m texting my best friend that I’m not coming, I don’t know why we made these plans, I can’t leave the house, and in fact I’m never leaving the house again.
This has been my life everyday for the past year. I don’t know if it’s menopause or what but all of a sudden I HATE everything in my closet. Nothing works together. Nothing fits. I don’t have the right shoes. I am squash. Thank you for seeing us, we squash people. 😂
This essay was, in addition to being so completely relatable, a total delight. I honked with laughter (genuinely, a honk, which alarmed everyone sitting around me) at least 3 times.
I laugh because this was literally me last weekend. Always so confident the outfit I'd picked in my head will work that I wait until there's 15 minutes before I need to leave to get dressed. MISTAKE.
i haven’t read the full post yet but had to FLY here to say JUSTICE FOR MODEL BEHAVIOR! why isn’t it on streaming?!?!?! it’s one of my favorite made for tv movies that no one ever talks about! legit looked for it a few months ago and it was nowhere to be found and i thought maybe id made it up? also rec wish upon a star with a young katherine heigl because that was also chef’s kiss. okay i’ll be back with more thoughtful comments after i finish the essay 🤣
